Cherry Berry Plum Water

I was in the mood for something sweet and came across this recipe for Cherry Berry Plum Water. Yum! Maybe the fact that it is 65 degrees outside and sunny but I am craving a springtime treat. I just love making fresh juices in the warmer weather. Need to stock up on supplies but this one is on my list. Thanks for posting this yummy drink, Vintage Bleu!

Cherry Berry Plum Water
6 Strawberries, diced
1 Plum, diced
18 Cherries, pitted
4 C. Filtered Water
2-3 Tbsp. Agave Nectar or Honey
Mesh Strainer

Directions: Simply blend/liquify your fruit in your blender along with your water. Strain into a medium sized bowl. Be sure to press out the juice from the pulp with a spoon to get as much juice out of the pulp. Sweeten your water with agave nectar or honey. Serve chilled or over ice cubes. Garnish each glass with whole cherries!"

my very first real grown-up perfume. It was Christmas when I was 12 years old. For the first time, there was a present under the tree for me with only "Daddy" on the from space. What?... not Mama and Daddy? My daddy had bought a present for me and was pretty proud about it, too. (poor, Mama!... all those kajillions of gifts that she bought for every occasion all through the years and she, of course, put his name along with hers on each and every tag! But she was a trooper about the whole thing... ) What in the world was in that little box? Shaking and shaking it didn't help one bit. "Daddy!, pleeeease just give me one itty-bitty hint!" I begged for a few days... So he did. "It has something to do with TV", he admits. "Something that you see on TV on a show or commercial?" I try to clarify. "No. It has something to do with TV", he states. I RACKED MY BRAIN FOR DAYS. It's 1969, people. I can't think of one single thing that has to do with TV that would fit into a box that small. Christmas Day finally arrives and I am so excited to rip into that mystery box. When I do, I am GIDDY! ... my very own real grown-up perfume! ...no more sneakily having to steal my Mama's. (haha... like she couldn't smell it on me.) yipee! yipee! yipee!... Wait a minute. "Daddeeeee...! TV? This doesn't have ANYthing to do with a TV!".... "Sure it does. It says channel 5 right there on the label."

Here's a "charming" little cupcake for St. Patrick's Day!

1	box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® yellow or devil's food cake mix
	Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
1	container (1 lb) Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
3	cups Lucky Charms® cereal
	Green edible glitter

1Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups. Make and bake cake mix as directed on box for 24 cupcakes, using water, oil and eggs. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
2Frost cupcakes with frosting. Top each cupcake with 2 tablespoons cereal; sprinkle with glitter.

You will need 12 or so roses for this project. I plucked what used to be my beautiful Valentine's roses from Sweet Hubby. (Let me insert a step here if you use roses from your garden, some suggest to soak the buds in vinegar first for about 15 minutes to kill any insects and to clean the petals... then rinse well with cold water and pluck apart.) Bring three cups of water to a boil.

Remove from heat. Add your petals and stir to wet all the petals.

Let cool completely. You can even place it in the refrigerator overnight and finish the next day. Strain the cooled liquid into a jar or bottle with a spray or spritzer top. Squeeze lumps of petals to get all the water possible! Isn't there such a delightful aroma!

Spray on after your shower! My dark red buds made dark liquid. As you can imagine, pink buds will produce pink rose water. Soooo easy peasy... and it smells divine!

Day 14...

I am not a dieter. I never have been... (cue the image of me to the right. In my simple I-live-in-Mary Beth-land mind, the HUGE camera makes me look very thin...). According to a couple of so-called doctors that I've seen over the past few months, I need to lose some pounds (whaaaaaa?) and ...get this.. start exercising! (WHAAAAAAA?) Geeze Louise, I watch "Dancing with the Stars", "Survivor", "The Amazing Race" AND was a cheerleader in high school!.... What else could I possibly do?!!

Well, in an effort to get my blood work numbers looking better, I started checking out all the diet programs out there these days. Being a used-to-be-home-ec teacher (with a minor in nutrition... haha) I knew that my program would have to be nutritional sound, easy to understand, use real food and hopefully not leave me miserable every day. From "The Doctors" show, I learned about a doctor developed "17 Day Diet" program that offered a plan that changes every 17 days and seemed to meet all of the qualifications that I was looking for. I ordered the book and started to get excited about the changes that might be coming in my direction. After reading the first few chapters, I was ready to begin. I am happy to say that this morning on day 14, I have lost ELEVEN pounds! ...and I have to say that I have felt very content every day. I already feel so much better and more energetic! Next 17-Days, I'm coming atcha....

March 1 is National Pancake Day!

Here's several yummies I've recently collected and thought that you might also like to try...

From I am Baker , these pretties are regular pancakes (made smaller to be different) then topped with either strawberries or blueberries. Instead of syrup, she used powdered sugar mixed with milk, a drop of vanilla plus a drop of either red or blue food coloring.

Also from I am Baker, this delightful stack alternates regulars with red velvet pancakes! WHAAAAAAA? These are served with Blueberry Syrup and blueberries. Call me when these are ready! Her Red Velvet Pancake recipe can be found here.

How about these mouth watering Ciinnamon Roll pancakes from Baked Bree! She says "When people tell you that these are the best pancakes they have ever eaten, then you know that they are good. These pancakes are exactly what you want when you are craving a cinnamon bun but do not have the time to make them. These are sweet, cinnamon-y and fluffy. To make something delicious and over the top, instead of maple syrup (which is also delicious), top them with cinnamon bun icing. Nothing short of amazing!" Get her recipe here.

A pretty rainbow stack can be made by simply adding food coloring to the batter!

How about this fun idea? Lay your cooked bacon on the griddle and then cover each one with batter to make delicious long pancakes!

I made these for my College Daughter, Libby!... (here for original post). Add some batter to an empty squirt bottle. Writing backwards, pour name into pan. (I wrote it backwards onto paper first so that I had something to look at and to follow.) Give it a few moments to start browning, then pour a pancake on top of the backwards name. I also made faces and hearts.

This last idea from I am Baker will have to wait until fall. She divided her batter among three bowls. One bowl of batter was left as is to make regular brown pancakes. Yellow food coloring was added to one bowl and orange to the last. After the pancakes were cooked, they were cut into leaf shapes and served with maple syrup. How clever!

In case you didn't know...
Elfing is secretly treating someone to Christmas gifts/goodies!

Basically you fill a basket or bag with goodies, toys or anything festive for Christmas and leave it on the front doorstep of a friend or neighbor. You must include a "door sign" and "poem/instructions" so that the recipient knows what this is there for and how to pass long the favor. The recipient will place the door sign on their front door to let others know that they have had a turn being "Elf'ed". Then the recipient gets a turn at this. Pretty soon the whole neighborhood is filled w/ homes with doors that have the signs up!

What is Pinterest? Pinterest is a social catalog service. Think of it as virtual pinboards (inspiration boards/ Pins or saved images of interest ) ... a place where you can post collections of things you love, and "follow" collections created by people with similar taste and images.

I don't know about you, but I save dozens and dozens of images and tutorials and recipes and such every few days on my computer. Weeks later when I have a question about an image that I saved, I can't for the life of me remember where I found it... and, of course, I can't go back for more information. Even worse, when my hard drive recently crashed, I lost EVERYTHING that I hadn't transferred to a safe site. Aarrrgh!

College Daughter (of course, they always know the latest and greatest!) found this new Pinterest site and told me that I would love this way of saving and collecting all of my pretties. I went over and checked it out and was quickly interested. Without hesitation, I clicked the 'request an Invitation' link and impatiently kept checking my email to see if there was any news of the next step. They are new and just a bit slow at setting up your page... it took about a week and a half to get that long (it seemed) awaited email that I was ready to go....

...and GO I did! I loooove this site! Now, with my "Pin It" icon, I can quickly add the image (automatically complete with the link!!!!) to whichever of my boards that I'd like. You also get to add a note to remember what you like, what you would change or if a tutorial is included at the link. Huge Squeal of Delight! I already have boards for recipes, someday crafts, fabric, paper, kitchen, walls, gifts, thanksgiving, christmas... just to name a few! hahaha... I no longer have to save the images (with no information) in my picture file.

But wait. There's more...... You find boards with similar interests to follow. All you have to do to see what's new on them is click the "boards you follow"link and you'll seeall the images of any new pins (posts).Now re-pin any that you want to save to any of your boards. New boards can be added to your collection at any time as they are needed. You also receive emails telling you who has re-pinned one of your entries and who has started following any of your boards. I check out any people that look new to me to see if there's any delightful goodies to pin or follow. You don't have to follow ALL of a person's boards... just the ones that are interesting to you. I also save (pin) daily pretties from blogland as always and it bypasses my regular picture file. I've also pinned from flickr and similar sites. Once you have your pin-it icon in your toolbar, you can pin from ANY site.... giggles, giggles, giggles with glee!

I am soooo very sorry for being MIA for so very long. I have missed the encouraging comments, blog parties, emails and most of all visiting with you to see what you have been up to each day. Near the end of April, the hard drive in my new (from Christmas) laptop crashed. After several people tried in vain to at least retrieve all my lovely saved images, I finally had to ship my baby halfway across the United States of America and wait and wait and wait for it to come back home. Meanwhile, I was having a whole slew of tests done to try to figure out why my liver enzyme count has remained terribly high even after having my gall bladder removed a year ago. Instead of being around 60, mine is still 372. I think they have finally decided that I'm just not normal. HA!... so sad that we've had to dish out soooo much money to make that official! Pleeeease accept my apologies for all the unanswered emails (half of a kajillion), thanking new followers that signed on and a few online commitments that got dropped by the wayside. I can hardly wait to get caught up on taking pictures and making new posts of a few projects that I actually was able to tackle while I didn't have a computer. hmmmmmm...I'm betting there's a lesson there somewhere..... AND I am the most excited about getting back out into BlogLand to see what you're up to these days. Y'all are so very inspiring to me! My cleaned out laptop is back I'm ready to get back to business as usual.........

More "Freshly Faked CupCakes" ! ..this time with a theme. Here in Georgia, it's time for the annual Relay for Life campaigns to raise money for cancer research. Last spring, I decided to decorate a set of my faux cupcakes using the pink ribbons that support breast cancer and sweet little pink fairies to either watch over someone fighting cancer or to give as a gift to a friend who has lost someone dear to this dreadful illness. My mama died from cancer years ago when I was still in my twenties. I keep one of these on my hutch. These sweet little "Cupcakes for the Cure" have once again been a real "treat" to make!

Great Mother's Day Gift to Make

As you can tell by the date, Grandson and I made this little lovely several years ago. We made the original one for Oldest Daughter for Mother's Day that year. It didn't take me long into the process to know that I wanted one, too! Even though I've had this for quite a while, I thought that it's still a delightful gift that is sure to please! Be sure to make one for yourself as well... It would be tough to part with this little jewel!

Here's the step-by-step...

One 4x6 black and white photo with rub-on letters or a phrase along the top edge. Cut three 4x6 rectangles from white or cream cardstock.

I used letter rubber stamps to hand stamp my "definition" onto white cardstock. You could also print this from your computer.

Trace that precious little hand with a crayon onto white cardstock.

I used a different definition for each of us. I have a cheap paperback dictionary that I use to cut from for different projects. Allow a large border around the edges when you cut it out. Lay the cut paper on top of the hand print and pencil sketch a rectangle that is the size of the definition. Make a slit in the center and tear along your pencil line. Lightly ink the torn edges with an ink pad or marker. With adhesive, attach the definition to the back of the hand print with the definition showing through the opening. I used letter eyelet charms to spell out "age". You could also add a bit of white or cream acrylic paint to the letters and wipe away the excess if you'd rather the letters be lighter in color. I think Michael's still carries these letters by Making Memories. You could also print something similar from the computer or a small label sticker or rub-on. Add a sticker or rub-on number for the actual age. Later you will trim this to fit into the frame.

I had him draw a heart with a crayon. Notice from the lines that he first draws an open "m" for the top and then a "v" to make the bottom. Even to this day, he still draws a heart this way. So charming I think. I then told him to write his name inside. He said, "Gwanmama, can I write the "O" furss (first)?" "Honey, you surely can." answered his adoring grandmother. When Grandaddy walked in for lunch, he excitedly shouted, "Look Gwandaddy! We're making sump'in." umm.umm.umm. Don't date it yet.

Cut a piece of black cardstock to fit inside your frame. Mine is an 8x10. If your handprint is large, you'll of course need a bigger frame and maybe even a larger black grid in the center and a bit around the edges. I kept trimming my four 4x6 pieces until they fit into the frame. Ink all of the edges. Place the black cardstock inside your frame withOUT the glass. Trim the pieces to fit inside the frame. Make the top two the same size and the bottom two also equal to each other. I used scrapbooking adhesive to attach the photo and cardstock pieces to the black cardstock, leaving a black grid in the center. Date the bottom right corner. Now you're all done! Frame and collect the compliments.

Grandson was leaving to go home last night. I knew that he paused in the dining room, but I didn't know why... or even really think about it. He turned back to look at me and said, "Gwanmama, look right here when you get up. I left you a note!" Well, it didn't take me two shakes of a lamb's tail to jump up and go look to see what he had written...

There in the pollen (really. I had just dusted it last weekend!) on my buffet was what I read as Grandmama loves Josh. He said, "You're s'pose to write your names and a heart when you love each other." Oh.My.Gosh... That's it. I will never dust the top of that buffet again. My note is there to stay forever!

Counting My Blessings Stitchalong

another stitchalong! YAY! I missed the last one and it seemed that every other place that I landed in BlogLand, someone else was posting their progress on their "39 Squares" and got "jealous-er and jelous-er". not good. I had even bought the supplies to do one on my own. So I'm all ready to start on this new one! This one's theme is to stitch a blessing in each square of your grid. The hostess is going to do a 10x10 grid! Wow! That's a 100 squares and blessings! She recommends saying a "thank you" prayer for each particular blessing as you stitch. I love this idea! What a delightful way to really think and notice what your many blessing are! Go here for more information and to sign up. I can hardly wait to begin!

I'm so honored! The Prairie Maid surprised me this morning by listing Live. Laugh. Make Something as one of her favorite Happy blogs. Awwwww! What a sweetie she is! Drop in at her place one day this week and tell her that I sent you...

I researched a bit, but I couldn't find the origin of this delightful award. I did find out that first I am to list 10 things that make me happy. What a great way to get to know each other a bit better! Next I am to list 10 blogs that make me happy. (How will I ever narrow it down to 10?) Bottlecap Cupcake PinCushions

I made these little pretties using the caps from bottles of water, felt, beads and stuffing. I joined all the pieces using embroidery stitches that my grandmama taught me when I was little.

Excuse me while I chasing a rabbit here... When I was little, I would sneak a hankerchief out of my daddy's drawer every once in a while... unfold it... and using all the pretty stitches Mama B. had taught me, sew along ALL of the folds. Oh... and being so careful to take the time to change the ever-so-pretty color of embroidery thread for each and EVERY 3-inch fold. weeeeeeee. Then sooo proudly fold it back up and sneak it back into his drawer hoping that he would notice the improvements I had made to his man-hanky. Oh me. Bless his heart, he would stick it in his pocket and off to work he'd go....

ANYway... I adore these little pin cushions! They are so petite and charming! ...but best of all, no calories! They are available for purchase in my Etsy Shoppe. I also hope to have some headbands and fabric flower necklaces (shown in earlier posts) listed this week as well.

Making Time to Create

A little while back, I made this clockface for my little chippy vintage scrapbook store. This project is much easier than it looks and adds a bit of whimsy to your creating space. Buy a basic clock with a fairly large number area. I found mine at Wal-Mart.

After removing the dome and hands, I traced the glass onto scrapbook paper to use as the new background. I also cut an extra circle to use for a practice face. I stamped the 12 and 6... then the 9 and 3 to anchor the other number placements. With the remaining numbers added, I noted any adjustments and re-stamped all the flowers onto the actual background. I then placed the stamped paper into the clock and put it back together. Yay! I now love it in my crafting room.

Libby's Braided Headband with Flowers

Cute. Cheap. Easy... The BEST kind of girly craft, right? I made these for College Daughter. The two strips of the band are just braided fabric sewn to a piece of elastic across the back. There's a tutorial for this part at Smile and Wave. Then I just made three fabric flowers by twisting strips of the same fabric around and around and stitching the coils together and then onto the bands. Ta-Da! Get ready for all the compliments on your new headband!

We keep Grandson after school until Oldest Daughter gets here from work (over an hour away in Atlanta, poor baby). Grandaddy picks him up from school and is interrogated all the way here about what we're having for supper and what we have for his snack today. (...a chef in the making?) Well, he comes in the door on this day and...

I'm in the kitchen wiping down the counters (again.). I hear the door slam and his heavy bookbag drop to the wooden den floor. He hollers into the kitchen saying, "Grandmama, Git out the strawberry powder. Grandaddy got some strawberries!!!" Gotta love him and those boy hands dipping into the confectioners suger with at least 12 hangnails on each finger. Next week, I'll take him to the pick-your-own patch. xoxo

Hanging from the corner cupboard, Angelina quietly watches over my dining room. With her muslin dress and painted muslin body, she is primative shabby delicicious! Small stitches define her nose and brows and a coat of light peach acrylic paint is painted over her face, arms and legs. After getting a spray "tan" of tea, she and her dress dried outside in the warm sunshine. I roughly painted her tiny eyes and lips and outlined them with a black permenant pen. A nest of Spanish moss was glued atop her messy wavy "hair" while gold paint and black ink stars decorate the bottom of her gown. I gathered and cut a few twigs to sew to her back as wings. One of my favorite details is the string of cinnamon sticks and dried bay leaves I tied from hand to hand. Thank you, sweet Angelina for keeping my Dining Room under your watchiful gaze. I love you.

Happy Pancakes

I tried this for the first time when College Daughter (Libby) had her wisdom teeth all cut out during her spring break and was ready for her first meal. I apologize for letting them get too dark. I literally had too many pans in the fire! ...but you get the idea. I kept thinking that I would do this again for better pictures but that hasn't yet happened.

Thanks to Cathe Holden at Family Economics for this delightful idea! There were no photos, but that's where I found these instructions... Use a Ziploc® bag to create happy pancakes for breakfast. Pour a small amount of pancake batter into a plastic Ziploc® bag and trim a small section from the corner. With skillet oiled and hot, draw a happy face or message or name, (if you can write backwards!) onto the center of the skillet. Allow the design to heat and brown just a bit before covering the entire design with more batter to form the pancake. Once the pancake is flipped, the precooked design or message will appear darker than the surface of the rest of the pancake to the delight of your breakfast crowd.

I am sooo pleased with how these little pretties turned out! I painted peat pots (for starting seedlings for your garden) pink, green, teal and yellow. I then stamped words ( happy, spring, giggle, grow, etc...) onto some speckled eggs. You could also stamp names to use these baskets as placecards for your Easter meal! Hot glue a little tissue paper garland to the rim, a pipe cleaner for the handle and stuff a little Easter basket "grass" to the inside. Wah-Lah. A baket full of sunshine! I'm linking to ...

WHAAAAT?!!!

SHUT.UP. ...I am just giddy! I actually won something!!! I have been wanting some of this pretty stuff (Japanese Masking Tape) for quite a while but since I hadn't yet picked out a project (yeah, like I usually wait for that...), I hadn't bought any. ...but mostly because I just couldn't settle on a color combination. Thank you! Thank you!, "To Be Charmed" and "Happy Tape"! What a delightful item to win! Here's a few projects that I've collected...

DIY instructions from Family Circle as to how they decorated the eggs: (posted at To Be Charmed)

Use washi tape that is at least 1/2 inch wide. Create a collage of patterns by tearing small pieces of any length and covering egg. Press out any air bubbles before attaching next piece of tape. For the best effect, vary the placement of the tape. Repeat the same color and pattern to create an overall design or mix and match patterns for a patchwork effect.

Here's some pretty ideas that I have bookmarked. Washi Tape is thinner than American masking tape, easily tears and is remvable from slick surfaces. Isn't it just pretty in a stack? Oh, the plans that are swirling around in my little ole brain...

White Wednesday

OK. Here's the deal, Pickle... I recently closed my shabby (as in decor... not in products!) little scrapbook store in town. I brought home as many (ok, fine. i brought home more ) of my furniture pieces that I thought I could squeeze into my home. Fortunately, this little counter fit perfectly into a bare corner in my den. Isn't it delicious? I stumbled upon it at a flea market. It's made from bits and pieces of shabby scraps. Absolutely yummy. Anyway, this den is panelled with light pine, so I have been on a mission to bring in lots of creamy white to give the room an airy feel. I would love to paint this room, but I am SO afraid that my mama would come back and tan my 52 year old boo-hiney. (I live in the house that my parents built in the late 40's.) I apoligize profusely for the setup not being all styled... Right now, I'm just trying to work through the massive piles of boxes and furniture that I brought home to roost. So. this White Wednesday post brings pictures PLUS a plea to you to offer ALL of your imaginative suggestions for this little corner as well as the whole "golden" room. Bring it on. I'm ready to be adopted as a project that each of you want to complete! Big hug...

She Gets By...

College Daughter needed gifts for all her friends for Christmas. "We can make them, Mama!" she said. "You can think of something!" she continued with great feeling. "Paperdolls. Wonky Paperdolls." I said with conviction. "I like it!" she agreed. So. She searched her Facebook for silly photos of each friend and herself. We figured we should make each face about an inch long. We cut, snipped, inked and glued. ...and giggled with delight! Each was so funny and specifically themed to each relationship. In the one above, she is shown with her sorority friends with each holding her sorority's mascot and the last one holding a coffee cup that is in her hands 24/7. (I paper pieced these but you could also use stickers.) Other sets were themed to her church friends, roommate, shopping buddies, etc. The sentence at the bottom was printed from the computer, with spaces between words to allow for them to be easily cut apart and inked. We really did have a good time making these together ...and she ended up with very unique gifts on a student's budget!

Fabric Whites Necklace

Torn strips of various shades of white fabric... rolled... stitched in place... and made into a necklace for College Daughter. My poor baby that had four impacted wisdom teeth cut out for her Spring Break deserved a treat to take back to Athens. She is skinny and the necklace is not as big as it looks in these close-ups! I'm finishing up two more for my Etsy shop. It looked so pretty and "springy" on her...

chocolate dipped yummy

I'm linking up with Tatertots and Jello for their Saturday "Weekend Wrap Up Party" to share something I've made over the past couple of weeks ... complete with the recipe and/or directions. I happened to have taken a picture of these chocolate dipped yummies that I made for my bunch. It doesn't matter how many I make, it's never enough! ...and to top it off, they are soooo easy! All you need is peanut butter, Ritz crackers and milk chocolate almond bark. First, make peanut butter "sandwiches" with the Ritz. Melt 2-3 blocks of the bark in a microwavable bowl or cup. Using a spoon to completely cover the cracker sandwiches, dip them in the melted chocolate. Place them on waxed paper until hardened. (Use sprinkles if desired!). Grab the ones that you want 'cause they disappear quickly!

My poor College Daughter is fighting the removal-of-the-impacted-wisdom-teeth battle. Bless her sweet heart... She's very sweetly dealing with lingering nausea plus the swelling and soreness. On a happier note, my Eliza duvet and shams arrived! Next week... when I have more time to change out the bedding... I'll have a new bedroom! Here's pics from the PB catalog...

Transformation Thursday: Sale Bin Pillows

I am linking up with the Frugal Friday Linky Party at The Shabby Nest to show how I transformed a bargain find into something a little bit better than my purchase. My upgrade involves two cream pillows from the sale bin at Bed Bath and Beyond that I decorated with felt. I cut the pieces freehand and used running stitches with three strands of embroidery floss up the center of each piece to attach it. Easy as pie! Felted Sweater Socks

Make boot-liner socks from sweater sleeves in under 15 mins !

There is a fantastic way to whip together wool socks without the hassle of learning to knit. You will need a wool sweater (perhaps an old one from your closet, or one purchased from the thrift store), scissors, thread and a needle. Not much!

Put the sweater in your washer on high heat followed by the dryer on high heat as well. This will both shrink the sweater (so if you have larger feet make sure to buy a big sweater!) and felt the sweater. This process agitates and binds the fibers of the sweater together to create a frayless fabric.
Lay the felted sweater out flat and cut the arms off at the shoulder. Turn the sleeves inside out then pull one sleeve on like a sock with the ribbed edge at your calf and the shoulder edge at your toes.

Pin or mark with chalk the end of your new sock at the toeline. Stitch the marked edge together and trim the excess.

When you are complete, flip the sweater arm inside out and you have a brand new cozy wool sock that won't fray.

Tuck these babies in your rubber boots and you'll have instantly warm winter boots. Dress up your sock by felting a design around the top and folding it over your winter wellies. If it's a bit itchy, line your wool socks with fleece for double warmth.
