We had one of these years ago. My mama was the town operator. We "went dial" when I was in the 3rd grade and she chose my high school graduation year to be our phone number.... which is still my phone number today in the same house at age 53.

We had one of those, once long ago too.
I remember those phones too. My son saw one and said "Mom! Look at the cool old phone!" Hmmmph! That is cool about your mom. I remember when my mom used to give out our old number it started with "Kenwood" followed by 5 numbers. Ah the good old days!
I bet all your friends were so jealous of that number, how fun!
