Libby's Braided Headband with Flowers

Cute. Cheap. Easy... The BEST kind of girly craft, right? I made these for College Daughter. The two strips of the band are just braided fabric sewn to a piece of elastic across the back. There's a tutorial for this part at Smile and Wave. Then I just made three fabric flowers by twisting strips of the same fabric around and around and stitching the coils together and then onto the bands. Ta-Da! Get ready for all the compliments on your new headband!

Hello Mary Beth,

This headband is precious!! I find nothing more relaxing than hand sewing and messing with paper and fabric. ♥ Well....maybe my graphic design will slide in there with that too..:0)

Thanks so much for visiting and commenting on my fabric flowers.

Have a wonderful Spring day...

Hugs,
Stephanie ♥

That is really cute. I didn't even realize headbands were still in use until my Mom won one at a Halloween party.

Thank you for an adorable stop on my journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "L"!

Is that fabric like gauze?

It looks so light and luscious!

Thank you for participating, too!
