I left you a note...

Grandson was leaving to go home last night. I knew that he paused in the dining room, but I didn't know why... or even really think about it. He turned back to look at me and said, "Gwanmama, look right here when you get up. I left you a note!" Well, it didn't take me two shakes of a lamb's tail to jump up and go look to see what he had written...
There in the pollen (really. I had just dusted it last weekend!) on my buffet was what I read as Grandmama loves Josh. He said, "You're s'pose to write your names and a heart when you love each other." Oh.My.Gosh... That's it. I will never dust the top of that buffet again. My note is there to stay forever!

Sooooooo sweet. As the pollen drifts away (or gets dusted away) you'll have the beautiful memory of the photo. Maybe you could frame the photo and hang it above or next to the buffet. I bet you'd smile every time you passed it!

that is the sweetest thing! I completely understand if you never want to dust that table ever again.
Years ago (10 years?) my son went in to work with my husband and while he was there in the office he drew a little picture of a Star Wars spaceship on the white board. My husband has never erased that corner of the board.

I always told my kids they weren't allowed to right in my dust, but I think a sweet little note like that would be okay!

Nothing is more touching than (I keep getting distracted by Chokita - that is really cute but I have trouble under normal circumstances... awwww...she just laid down)

OK, back to my comment.
